As we take our final steps in 2015, I pray the night be divine
For we have had our share of the year. I don’t know about you but God favored me
He turned denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity
My character, my integrity and even my faith in Christ were questioned and tested
I can’t help it but give HIM the glory through words of praise
Till we hear the voice of 2016 ring @ 12am midnight
I bet the birds will sing out the glory of the New Year in exaltation
For there’s endless possibilities in the moves we are yet to take.

And if this heart of mine is right, by the time the night of 2015 is over,
the stars are going to shine on every dead situation, sorrow, pain and losses
And when the morning of 2016 finally comes;
It’s gonna find us all together in a love and laughter that has just begun.
I speak life and prosperity; and I even speak health.
I loose blessings in heaven and on earth for your sake

Till then, let’s take a slow and easy ride into the New Year
Only lay back and let prayer take us over
For across the bridge, there will be no more sorrow or pain
The sun will surely shine across the river and we will never be unhappy again
See you all in 2016! It cradles we hope.

This write-up is dedicated to God Almighty, DR. Edward Felix Dwumfour of the World Bank- Nairobi and to all my Loyal Readers here. I say a “Big Thank You” to you all for making 2015 a success for me. I wouldn’t be here without your support. You turned what I have into enough and more. I appreciate you.

2015 in review

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2015 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

A San Francisco cable car holds 60 people. This blog was viewed about 1,500 times in 2015. If it were a cable car, it would take about 25 trips to carry that many people.

Click here to see the complete report.

Wow, seeing this report has really boost my morale to write more. Personally, I am impressed with this report. I must confuse it hasn’t been easy coming up with write-ups and even talking of the time dedicated to grow this blog. All the same, I am grateful to WordPress.com for such an opportunity to fly with thousands of writers (both known & unknown, far & near).

I also would like to thank my fellow bloggers who have followed my blog from day one till date. Aaaww, you’ve been awesome. Thanks to…..

Sincerely speaking, I appreciate you all. I can personally testify to your commitment even if wordpress didn’t acknowledge you. Kudos to the rest of my co-bloggers, for tagging along too.

Finally, to my wonderful readers. Thank you for your constant visit and most especially, your loudable comments and likes. While you see them to be comments, I see them to be pieces of advice and endorsements. You are my magical mystery.

I thereby plead with you all to fly with me through to 2016 and beyond. I look forward to serving you better in the coming year. I still believe I got your back.

With wishes for a day that’s warmth with happiness
And joy through all the times I have known you
With thanks offering for all the happy memories
And for your caring coaching, and supporting spirit
Even your thoughtful “LIKES” that has always brighten my blog can’t be forgotten
With much love, I did like to thank you for being a wonderful pillar on my blog. I appreciate you, wish you the great tidings of the season and a promising new year in advance.

Thank you.

I notice this, each year I live;
I always like the gifts I get,
But how I love the gifts I give!” ~ Carolyn Wells

Traditions that recall

the sameness of them all.” ~ Helen Lowrie Marshall

for loving, sharing, giving, are not to put away
like bells and lights and tinsel, in some box upon a shelf.

It isn’t the tree not the firelight’s glow. It’s the warmth that comes to the hearts of men when the Christmas spirit returns again.” ~ Unknown
 “Are you willing to believe that love is the strongest thing in the world – stronger than hate, stronger than evil, stronger than death – and that the blessed life which began in Bethlehem nineteen hundred years ago is the image and brightness of the Eternal Love? There isn’t hope for everyone

I sometimes wonder if I have never laboured enough too

V. Naa Takia

I don’t react well to disappointment

the kind that hits so hard you can but only stand

and remind yourself that no one

ought love this deep

And then waking up becomes a lie

sunrise, sunset, all one and the same

agonizing truth, cold staring in the face

you wonder if you never labored enough

to save your insides the pain

You gave me reasons to hold back that wrist

To say maybe today will be different

To die a million deaths to earn me a second of life with you

Is it not love, something unquantifiable, defiant and stupid

Is it not me wanting my demon to whom I am so devoted

that even when I know you will never turn up

I thought-pick a memory

of moonlit shade, music and quiet kisses

and listen to each whisper so intimately defined

still foolishly hoping…
