I am a black color skin girl with roots from Africa
I am a proud Negro; a distinct that traces my bloodline
Never will I ever be disloyal to my pedigrees;
cos my root is my birthmark.

Family is like the twigs of a tree
We all grow in different directions
Yet our roots remain same
Oh family, to you I blindly seek for thy love
And search for unclear bearings and affection
Meeting Today’s prompt “Blindly”
I never belong there
They didn’t want me there at all
It was too apparent;
so I plodded out
you intend to help?
But how? And why is that?
You’re too late, way too dawn
Worry not; I will do well wherever I may find myself
Thank you, really……for the disowning.
So how do they do it?
They seem to demonstrate the wildest audacity
Always win first
They are ardent protectors, attackers, owners,
defenders, invaders, chancers, showoffs, rulers
Challengers, fighters, risk-takers, goal-getters, titleholders
gamers, disciplinarians, competitors, believers, achievers
and leaders of all specs
Champs, is what I love to call them.
They can set the world ablaze if care is not taken
May my victory never frown on uncovering
achievements of lousiness
And if I dare to logjam tendons for winter;
may willpower pursue me
Not for once should I feel like my dream is on a cusp of luck;
evenhandedly waiting for my apparition to align
May I never miss my paces on the cusp of genuine success
Rather, succumb to hard work
As for me, blogging is as wise as
showing gratitude for the little things
prudence is less for more;
same as words.
